Rand Paul urges Harry Reid to ‘calm the rhetoric’ on Cliven Bundy
Daily Caller ^ | April 18, 2014 | Brendan Bordelon

Republican Senator Rand Paul called on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to “calm the rhetoric” on Cliven Bundy, arguing the Nevada senator’s “domestic terrorist” comment was “liable to stir up” the situation and lead to violence.

The Kentucky senator spoke Thursday night with Fox News’ Eric Bolling, who was filling in for Sean Hannity. “Is there any need to call Americans domestic terrorists?” Bolling asked.“No, I think what we should all be calling for is for calmer heads to prevail,” Paul said. “I don’t want to see violence on either side.”

“There is a legitimate constitutional question here about whether the state should be in charge of endangered species or whether the federal government should be,” Paul admitted. “But I don’t think calling people names is going to calm this down.

If the conservatives could learn how to get on message Reid would become a liability, but conservatives love to go off topic and spew lengthy essays on details, and boring everyone to death except the converted.

Gads. Truer words...

Sen. Paul should be calling on Reid to come clean with why he is so bilious about the Bundy situation.

Yep --

Well, I’m not too happy about that but I wouldn’t say that Mitch is hard left. His ACU rating is around 90%.

His ACU rating does not take into account all the behinn the scenes arm twisting against conservatives nor his outright threats to crush them. FR is filled DAILY with examples of them and you ‘arent too happy’ that he is getting the full faith of Rand? You ought to be flipping furious!

How exactly do you suppose we become a more conservative nation when we keep backing people who literally fight to lessen the conservatism in that nation? How? In detail please so you can help me understand how it works.

Because in my reality, one supports what they believe and supports those who share those beliefs...and oppose those who work against them. Now do I need thorazine? Because unless what’s left of my mind is gone, that is the way thing work if one wants their agenda to succeed. One does not help people out to ‘crush’ them and expect Nirvana.

[in at least 11 bribery cases. ]

Just so you know what they are and why I can't always keep up (so appreciate your help) Here are the ones I know where Reid would be either directly involved or directly tangent:

  1. Pimp Joe Conforte (I am good friends with the bagman who got bags of cash at the Mustang Ranch for Reid)
  2. Joe Agosto (mafia skim at Tropicana hotel. Overheard on wiretap saying he had Cleanface in pocket)
  3. Lefty Rosenthal accusation (Lefty was played by Deniro in Casino. Diccky Smothers plays Reid. Lefty claimed comps to Reid)
  4. Jack Gordon and Sol Sayegh (tried to bribe Reid for slot machine deal for $12,000 though they thought it was worth $100 million. Reid had FBI nab Gordon and Sayegh, I think because they were acting for LA Mickey Mouse mafia and not Tony the Ant. Sayegh's kid ends up being kidnapped shortly after, all they find is a shoe.)
  5. Senator Torricelli NJ (Close friend of Reid. Late in an increasingly competitive race against Republican Doug Forrester in 2002, Torricelli suddenly withdrew after disclosure of illegal contributions to his campaign by David Chang, a businessman connected to North Korea. What I also know from insiders is Torricelli was paid off o early online gambling deal with e.Ventures and mob lawyer/mayor Oscar Goodman, friend of Reid)
  6. Jim Rhodes (convicted for illegal contributions to Reid. Built Reid's house in Searchlight. I believe tey were trying to corner a bedroom community in Searchlight as payoff)
  7. Dario Herrera (did jail time for big bribes from titty bar owner Mike Galardi at Cheetahs. Reid protege who vacated County Commission seat to run for Congress, seat conveniently goes to Rory. Seat part of water commission.)
  8. Erin Kenny (similar to Herrera, took bribes from a number of people include Galardi at Cheetahs, Jim Rhodes (see below). Reid protege who he position to run for Lt. Governor)
  9. Harvey Whittemore (scheduled to do two years jail for illegal campaign donations to Reid, mostly for favors for Coyote Springs development where there were set asides for Desert Tortoses [near Bundy Ranch])
  10. Jeremy Johnson/Swallow case in Utah (bribes funneled through Reid long time consigliere Jay Brown)
  11. I have three more I can't divulge because of confidentiality and to hold in reserve. Plus the new stuff on solar deals, etc. that I don't have time to completely digest.
This is only what is on the surface. Local media must be complicit (Jon Ralston especially). Why am I the only one who can piece this together?

Every week a different Clive Bundy supporter and their family should be sponsored by Republicans to visit Washington reality TV/Social Media style and show the public who Reid is calling his enemy...as if the Republicans were going to have a winning strategy before the election...

Because unlike most in America today, you have integrity. And the desire to White Knight the issue. Which deserves a hell of a lot of respect.

Reid is not going to back down. He strands too much to lose.

Harry Reid and his family and their "corporations," are so deep into shady land deals in Clark County and elsewhere in Nevada that it is ridiculous...and, IMHO, completely and totally corrupt and criminal.

If people look, they will find that holdings that he and his corporations have obtained...many times at zero cost...are now growing in size from year to year, while the BLM controlled land around them shrinks. And there is no record on how or why this is happening. Just that the Reid holdings continue to grow.

But with Reid's man in control at the BLM, and an administration like the Obama Administration that specializes in kick-backs and the draining of the public trust and coffers for their political supporters...it is not at all surprising.

A BLM insider has documented a lot of this.

Someone also needs to have another look at Reid’s land deals around Bullhead City AZ (just across the river from Laughlin NV) that somehow managed to disappear from the news in the early 2000s.

Daxton Brown, you are a stalwart investigator, much MUCH more effective than 1,000,000 Journ-O-Lists at the Centers for Misinformation and Propaganda (commonly referred to as the American ‘News’ Media).

“And the desire to White Knight the issue.”

My motives are all over the map. But the predominant one is that we just can’t leave this crap to the younger generation. So call it a keen sense of self preservation.

I wouldn’t bet against Shumer and his cutthroats to start leaking dirt on Reid.

Good point. There is no honor among thieves.

As the dems go into self preservation mode with the coming election, and after it, it should not be hard to apply pressure in outside Nevada places. Which unfortunately would require a willingness of GOP pols to apply it. So it’s a virtual catch 22.

Not hard to lose faith in that environment, but their center cannot hold. Just as with their serving their gay and muslim masters, they cannot satisfy the demands of both and one will eventually crack. In the case of Reid’s dealings, everyone is either in deep or too scared to fess up. But with the right flick, houses of cards collapse rapidly.

Thanks Laz. I’m trying to pace this a bit. I’m in the midst of an update to the book which will take a couple weeks because of all the new stuff.
I think everything goes supernova eventually, but right now it is just boiling in the conservative webosphere.
Here’s a preview treat for people on this thread (don’t disperse till Monday, it isn’t anywhere ready for primetime yet, Each icon will have a mouseover explanation). Comments appreciated.
