Washington (CNN) -- The Obamacare enrollment is 8 million strong and growing. Polls have shown that voters love popular provisions calling for mandatory coverage for maternity care and extending coverage for young people up to age 26 to stay on their parents' health insurance policies. And recent figures from the Congressional Budget Office show that Obamacare will cost about $5 billion less to implement in 2014 than originally estimated.
Still, some Democrats have run from the President's signature health care reform law so fast, they've practically left skid marks. The question is: Will they run back?
~snip~
Last November, the Obama administration struggled to recover from the rocky rollout of the health care website and explain why the President broke a promise that people who prefer their insurance could keep it under the law. On the campaign trail, vulnerable Democrats are dogged by questions about Obamacare.
"There is no doubt that our failure to roll out the ACA smoothly has put a burden on Democrats, whether they're running or not, because they stood up and supported this effort through thick and thin," Obama said at Thursday's news briefing. He added that he feels "deeply responsible for making it harder for them rather than easier for them."

Because it sucks big green donkey . . . .
Another worthless story from the dinosaur media. The answer should be obvious, they just want some attention. CNN:? Why does anyone take this worthless network seriously, much less post its nonsense on Feee Republic?
That is how I feel about it and I had to laugh when I saw your comment you sum it up perfectly.
I heard the Hawaiian Dems are both depressed and embarrassed about the chain of lies and how screwed up Obamacare continues to be. Their party will be brightly painted with a
big blue F for FAILURE, forevermore!
Once Americans realize how much this is costing us they will be leaving a different kind of 'skid mark'.
Yawn... Wake me when there is something new coming out of the media.. Otherwise, I’ll catch up on my rest for the midterms..
Because many of the 8m people had better coverage and lower rates and were forced to downgrade to Obamacare, because their superior insurance plans were abolished by the Obamacare law.
Maybe that is exactly what was meant :-)
I really had no idea it was green. FR showers regulars with boatloads of info.
Why would he lie? Its not like he’s ever lied about anything else.....: )
Really, the better question is why aren’t ALL Democrat politicians running from obamacare?
Has everyone at CNN signed up for Husseincare?
Even though they are loath to ever tell the truth when a lie will suffice, they are not totally unaware of the truth...
Thanks Rennes Templar. CNN shilling for Zero ping.
There are many (un) intended consequences under Obama care that will start to bubble through the surface.
My Spouse has had 4 Back operations, has titanium rods from her neck down to her tailbone and rods going into her hips.
Her doctor had tried all different medicines, including morphine patches, to help with her incredible pain. # years ago, she stumbled on a medication that has pain relief as a side effect. It worked wonders.
This month we tried to fill her new prescription, only to be told that the medication was refused, because of the new Obama care rules.
I spoke with the pharmacy and was told that our predicament is not isolated. Many prescriptions are affected and many customers are starting to be upset even cursing at the stores. Of course, it is not their fault. It is the ACA that is causing the problem.
Just some food for thought.................
My wife’s doctor sent her to get some X-rays and such, and told her that if she was on welfare he’d be allowed to do them in his office but ObamaCare now prevents that for people with their own insurance...
Thanks, I don’t doubt it!
Spot the liar!
T. Jefferson: If you want to keep your liberty, you can keep your liberty
B. Obama: If you want to keep your doctor, you can keep your doctor
Libs and bucket boy media still blame the rollout but miss the pink elephant in the room the 0bummercare itself. Their new math methods help them buy their smartcars and priuses.
