That'll give you an idea of why these parents are so outraged....and so desperately frightened....by the current situation.
What is the matter with the people running Children’s Services in Mass.
Prayers for this family.
Sounds like they aren’t even pretending that this isn’t a hostage situation.
More cowardice from the Governor of Massatwoshitts.
It’s a government operation. Government does a lousy job of caring for children as it does with almost everything else. Yet, there are parents who are so willing to leave their children in the care of the “nanny” state
This will continue until a sizeable number of citizens start protesting, demanding action. Not sure you’ll find them in Boston, but that’s what it will take. Prayer vigils, strongly worded letters, and outraged comments on websites haven’t done the job.
The more time passes with this going on, the more I’m beginning to think that there’s something about Justina that the state of Massachusetts fears.
I have no idea what it would be, but nothing else really makes sense.
There is a protest planned for tomorrow. There is also a counter protest by SEIU supporting DCF.
It’s Massachusetts so it makes sense to me.
I agree. If there’s evidence of abuse from the parents surely someone would’ve filed charges against them by now. When the judge granted the state custody, his comments in the ruling were surreal. It looked like he granted DCF custody simply because the parents were mean to the DCF and BCH employees. This just makes no sense - why this kid?
They (DCS/HHS/DHHS) do this because of the kickbacks they get for doing it. There is big money in taking kids away from their parents and making them wards of the state...
That's good. Protests will likely need to continue, and escalate appropriately, as time goes on.
The Massachusetts Commonwealth’s Dookhan-class
medical experiment continues unabated.
When was informed consent given?
A “strongly worded letter” is akin to the UN writing a letter to North Korea. It means nothing.
There are idiots running children’s services all over the US. When my granddaughter turned six she got a razor scooter for her birthday. She immediately fell off and broke her leg.......uh oh it was a spiral break. All spiral breaks must be reported here because they are consistent with a twisting motion.....abuse.
After she got her cast on and was recuperating to go back to school she stayed at our house since her mother works. Doorbell rings and it is 2 workers from social services. They said they had a hard time finding her (she was in a private school) and wanted to know if they could check on her. I said you can’t come in my house without a warrant but you can talk with her here....with me present. They asked her where she went to school and how she broke her leg. She told them but they werent satisfied they then started asking her how her parents get along, do they fight? I told her don’t answer then told them her parents relationship had absolutely nothing to do with her breaking her leg Especially since they were separated and didn’t live together and if they had anymore questions they could talk to our attorney. I said all this very calmly and matter of factly. They didn’t like it but left and we never heard from them again.
I would strongly suggest that you read up on this particular case before making such an ignorant statement.
You wonder if they were born on the planet Krypton or something.
This is so weird.
I've heard more than one report on local Boston talk shows that this kid has deteriorated dramatically in the months that she's been in state custody.I certainly don't know if it's true (it could be hype from the parents' supporters) but if it *is* true it wouldn't surprise me ONE...LITTLE...BIT.
I don't know how things are in other states but here in Massachusetts being a government *hack* means *never* having to say you're sorry.
I agree, there is something seriously wrong here and how it continues is beyond me. Take my kid, I get my gun and take him back.
