I actually got my stamp on an NFA trust. Maybe that’s why it took so long. But it did keep from me having to do the whole fingerprint and CLEO thing.
It did, however, force me to execute a trust, and to establish a trust account.
Unless you know the “attitude” of your local CoP, it may have been well worth the wait.
I thought they were closing the trust “loophole”
