First Lady Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign “Let’s Move” is encouraging kids to dance for the arrival of a dinosaur’s bones at the Smithsonian to achieve an active lifestyle.
The Let’s Move blog explained on Wednesday:
Yesterday, an exciting new addition to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History arrived: a 66.5 million year old Tyrannosaurus rex.
In honor of the T. rex’s arrival, the Smithsonian is encouraging people to get up and dance. They’ve teamed up with Alaskan artist and musician Ray Troll and his band, The Ratfish Wranglers, to create “National Rex,” an original song celebrating the dinosaur’s arrival and they want you to send in a 30 second video dancing to your own original “Rex Two-Step.”
“Here at Let’s Move!, we’re all for getting active, and dancing is a great way to add activity to your daily routine,” the campaign said. “So why not grab a camera and show the T. rex how you move?”

What does jump the shark mean??
I don’t know why the term is used to describe the phenomena, but “jump the shark” means that a person or a particular social institution, TV show, etc having achieved its highest level of popularity, importance, and that it is now passed its prime to eventually fade out, away.
Arrrrrrgh.
Great goodness, I can’t wait until these people are gone. No matter who takes their place at least they will be out.
“Happy Days”, the Fonz took to water skis and went over a ramp to jump a shark. America reached for the remote control.
It comes from the TV program Happy Days which was very popular but ran out of ideas. The had one of the cool characters (Fonzi) jump over a shark on water skis. The show cratered badly after that and went off air
