"The leaders of the University of Minnesota, Rutgers and Dropbox have refused to dump Rice. In todays context, their stalwartness almost qualifies as courageous acts of conscience."
Give it time....they'll cave.

Rice is an intelligent woman with her own opinions which are not in lock step with the Marxists in the administration and their supporters. From what I can tell, she isn’t a crony capitalist with the doctrinaire opinions they have.
Dangerous woman!!!

Is this headline a play on words?
They’ve sent the hounds after one that got off the liberal plantation.

Didn’t Rice grow up in segregated Birmingham?
I’d say she’s more qualified than most of the brats who attend UofM.

The leftist Star Tribune Editorial today was “Welcome Dr. Rice”.It was fine.
Even the Trib was embarrassed by the leftist cranks agitating against her in recent weeks.

The Minnesota professors say that it is in a spirit of free expression that they ask for the reversal of Rices invitation. Because nothing says free expression like shutting down someones lecture. Well, maybe their next spirit of free expression could be a big book burning party like their Nazi ancestors used to have.
Nazi students and SA unloading "un-German" books as fuel for a book burning on May 10, 1933 in Berlin, Germany. The SA (Sturmabteilung or "Stormtroopers") was the Nazi paramilitary organization under Ernst Röhm. The banner on the back of the truck states, "German students march against the un-German spirit."
I have no doubt that these 'professors' can mobilize their 'students' in a similar fashion.
