Likewise Jackie Robinson also went off the reservation with his hateful, racist remarks about Republicans back in 1964.
Calling a racist a racist is racist.
The country that gave him the opportunity to be the best he could be is racist......poor Hank.
Hey,Hank...you could learn A LOT from this wonderful black woman:
Ret. Col. Frances Rice—she can teach you some important facts. Take the test:
BLACK POLITICAL HISTORY: THE UNTOLD STORY NOTE:

hank aaron is a racist...his record needs an asterisk: *record made by a racist.
I met him. Aaron IS a racist scumbag.
Say it ain’t so, HanKKK.....
He did do that, but he later met with Goldwater and had a reconciliation of sorts. Robinson actually apologized for calling Goldwater a bigot.
I’m a white man who grew up idolizing Hank Aaron. I still consider his homerun recors to be one of the great accomplishments in sports....and I still resent baseball for letting the steroid era taint his accomplishmnet. Anyway, when Hank Aaron compared people in the GOP to the KKK, it really saddened me. As much as I disagree with the political left, I respect their point of view. And, I certainly expect the same respect in return. Instead of carrying himself with the class I had come to expect from Hank Aaron, he went right into the gutter with Al Sharpton and Barack Obama etc....where it may be warm and comfortable, but only because of all the slime he was surrounded with.
Finally, the excerpt caught my attention as well-There are only 67 black players in the major leagues, with three teams not represented by a single African-American player.
Who gives a c#ap?!! I’m certain every team picked the very best players they could find for their rosters. Should we be concerned many basketball team have only a few white players? Should we be troubled that most NFL place kickers are white? Of course not!!!! Skin color doesn’t matter!!! For once....just once....I wish the left would practice what they claim to preach!!!!
And Hank, dude.....you broke my heart with that comment. Why don’t you rethink what you said and try it again at a later date. If you do that, I’ll let your first comment slide.
And now calling someone a racist is racist, if the original racist is a lib.... The rules keep changing; I can’t keep up!
.....and those were the best examples that they could come up with?
As a white kid aged 9-15 in the late 50s and early 60s, Hank Aaron was my first sports hero. His recent comments felt like a sucker punch. If he provoked racist retorts, that’s too bad and should not have happened, but he himself started it with his slanderous, sloppy, stupid, racist generalization.
Racist = somebody winning an argument with a liberal.
Aaron became a radical a long time ago. I used to love the guy. He was my favorite ballplayer, but all he does is bash white people. His book was horrible. Nothing but grousing and complaining.
My beef with Aaron has always been how the Braves kept moving the left field fences in so the aging player could break the record. He was not in the same universe of HR/AB as was Ruth (16 vs. 11 AB per HR). I don’t consider him the true HR champ for those reasons.
Hank who?
A triple-dog accusation!
Yeah, right - Aaron made an outrageously racist comment and got called on it. Too damn bad. As someone else said, he’s second to Barry Bonds now. Suck it up, buttercup.
I was at Shea stadium in the early 70s, before Aaron broke Ruth’s HR record. The crowd gave him a standing ovation after he hit one out. You never see that for an opposing player. FUHA
