Nope, she had a LOT of people fooled into thinking she WASN’T a socialist.
She ran for gov on a “I’m a nice Kansas gal” platform.
She had my parents fooled. And no way they would have voted for a ‘rat in general or a baby killing communist in particular.
Kansas is a red state with the exception of Johnson and Douglas counties which are very Blue, and, unfortunately, two of the counties with some of the highest population density in the state.
