They started negotiating with the peoples militia, which is in control of the airfield. The shooting started unexpectedly. There are injured among the peoples militia, and there may be deaths, they said.
Other members of the militia have blocked the entrance to Kramatorsk and are ready to defend the city, the activists added.

Let’s hope the Ukrainians kill all the Russian rebels.
...or maybe Texas wants independence from Mexico and later to join US?
I saw some other pics of “pro-russians”. They looked like train station drunks. No joke. One had that crusty puffy face you see on alcoholics over there.
A government firing on it’s own civilians? Nah that could never happen here.
Like they did to rebels in 1776?
Kill’em.
I think a lot of the pro-Putin people on FReeRepublic are probably drunks too.
Nah, they just like his stand on gays.
All 1/3 of Ukraine population? :)
Window dressing.
Report says that One Ukrainian Su-27 is hit by ground fire.
So if you aren’t American Indian, we can expect you to return to your fatherland as well?
“Report says that One Ukrainian Su-27 is hit by ground fire.”
If true, that likely means that half of Ukraine’s serviceable aircraft are now out of service.
Pretty sure I’m not rebelling.
I wouldn’t say that, I did two tours there. The Serbs were demonized in the media as well, however most of the really bad stuff I saw was done by moslems and croats. One particular group of croats were so savage to this day if I meet one I’d sooner just shoot.
Appreciate your postings but won’t open anything from the Kremlin
Your map has a security block I don’t and won’t bypass.

Yarema: Russia's 45th Airborne Regiment operating in eastern Ukraine
5:54 p.m. While attending the funeral of a slain SBU captain in Poltava today, First Deputy Prime Minister Vitaliy Yarema said several hundred armed Russian military soldiers are in Luhansk, Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts who were covertly and gradually sent there over a long period of time, reported local online news source Poltavashchyna.
Right now, theyve concentrated their strength in Krasniy Lyman, Horlivka, Kramatorsk and Slovyansk (all in Donetsk Oblast); the terrorists are committing violent acts against police officers and are taking over government buildings, said Yarema.
According to the minister, it has been determined that some are from the 45th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army based near Moscow.
The Kremlin still maintains that none of its troops are in Ukraine and that it isnt behind the terrorist acts in eastern Ukraine that have left government buildings in 10 cities occupied and at least one SBU officer dead, including nine injured, according to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry. If they are home they should act like they’re home, same for anyone. If you don’t like where you are and associate with another country...go there. These melting pots do not work, history has proven it. You either embrace your new country and fully assimilate to it’s law and culture or you beat it.
Georgians attacked Russian soldiers base in Georgia, and than started indiscriminate shelling of S. Ossetian capital.
