FOUNDING FATHERS MADE SURE BUNDY FAMILY WAS ARMED
Breitbart ^ | April 14, 2014 | by AWR HAWKINS

As tensions rose and a standoff ensued between Bureau of Land Management (BLM) agents and Cliven Bundy and his family on April 11th and 12th, one thing was evident: through the Second Amendment, the Founding Fathers guaranteed that Bundy could be armed to protect his life and property.

KLAS-TV described a meeting between armed federal agents and armed Bundy family members during one of the highest points of tension.

No guns were misused nor were any used offensively. However, guns were present because of our Founding Fathers' forethought.

We do not have guns for the purposes of sporting or hunting--although guns are certainly fine tools for those activites. We have them, rather, because our Founding Fathers recognized a God-given right to keep and bear arms to protect our lives, families, and property. This right is not simply to provide protection from burglary or life-threatening attacks, but from tyranny as well--tyranny within or without our borders.

I, John Parker, of lawful age, and commander of the Militia in Lexington, do testify and declare, that on the nineteenth instant, in the morning, about one of the clock, being informed that there were a number of Regular Officers riding up and down the road, stopping and insulting people as they passed the road, and was also informed that a number of Regular Troops were on their march from Boston, in order to take the Province Stores at Concord, ordered our Militia to meet on the common in said Lexington...

And the rest is history.

I think the reason the criminals in the District of Criminals backed off from this stand off is that they they are this close to having a very, very large, armed contingent of the US citizenry go after them if they draw first blood like they did at Waco, Ruby Ridge, and other places.

People are fed up with the Feds.

I wonder if Rush Revere cares about Bunkerville as much as he cares about Bunkerhill. Almost two hours and not one mention. What gives? I wonder.

I might tend to agree. I’m not sure how many people in this country have decided whether they would put their life on the line for the freedom of future generations or not.

The times have changed, however, since Waco, Ruby Ridge and other places.

The other reason they backed down was because common people on the internet were tracking down the facts about how the government was sending in armed agents to protect and secure Senator Harry Reid's illicit financial interests.

Our professional media was too busy reporting on hypothetically rising seas and Michelle Obama's awesome fashion sense.

Just another example of why I think that last election was fixed. He just “knows” he is going to win doesn’t he despite being a massive F up. How does he know? Gee I wonder. Last election I had to wait on a LONG line to vote, I’m 51. That’s the first time I ever had to do that. Why? Because people turned out in droves to make sure this jackass didn’t do a 2nd term. But gee whiz, he won anyway didn’t he. And despite the fact that almost all the reader comments on every news site in the country was 80% against him before the election.

Oh I think he does. I’ve often wondered if he and others in the talk radio business aren’t concerned about saying something that the audience or the FCC might interpret as inciting a rebellion.

I’d say 20% which equals about 60,000,000. IIRC, about 20% of the American colonists fought or were active in some manner against the British during the fight for independence.

60,000,000 against the District of Criminals. Think about tha...

Well I have redistributed enough of my wealth to him. My political spirit is growing dim. Politics is too whorish for me to participate any longer. Rush used to be funny early on but now is just boring. What I am finding on this forum are some of the brightest minds around. I am delighted and honored to read all the words.
