Two Lyndhurst brothers in the U.S. illegally will spend little more than a year in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl from age 5 to 12.
Superior Court Judge Edward A. Jerejian sentenced Mauro Cedeno-Blondet, 53, and Gustavo Cedeno-Blondet, 55, to three years in state prison each. But because theyve been behind bars for 691 days, they get nearly two years of jail credit.
They will then be deported back to Ecuador.
The Cedeno-Blondets will serve their time in general population because neither qualifies for sex offender treatment at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Avenel, the judge said.

I hope their prison terms are cut short. As in cut. Short.
How sickening. Normally I don’t endorse cruel punishments, but, in a case like this, maybe amputations of certain things would be in order.
These judges need locked up!!
in the general population,...the chances of their surviving the first year are failry slim, Im told.
Yup, the lowest of the low will get no quarter.
Years ago when I was in jail for drunk driving I was a trustee. There was a guy who raped an infant in a segregation cell and the guards dutifully looked away as we dumped every meal for him on the floor of his cell 3 times per day for the 6 months I was there.
The guard told us that even when he was sentenced and put in with other sex offenders his days would be numbered. Even among rapists and molesters there is a sick morality and an infant rapist is as low as it gets.
What does NOW have to say about this?
Jailhouse justice will prevail.
I second that motion.
Given the age of their victim, yes, they are in for some difficult days and sore tooshies coming up.
We need to get back to hanging pedophiles.
If they are in GP, and the other inmates find out, they will be cut short. Now, the first time they are attacked, if they survive, will be locked up for their own safety.
Back to Ecuador? Want to bet they’ll be back.
“These judges need locked up!!”
With the Blondet Brothers. Give him the option of going back to Ecuador with them if he liked being fondled.
Everyone knows each other’s crimes there?
Perhaps, but the lockup they are at sounds a bit like a country club, not a prison
They do if the guard makes sure they know. In prison they have inmates doing clerical work so there aren’t many secrets there either.
Word quickly spreads. TV, Newspapers, Family and Friends, even Jailors
