If women are not going for that style/fashion, we're screwed.
They seemed to jump the shark from conservative well-styled clothes suitable for the office to rather formless and boring stuff that cost more and didn’t last as long about 3 or 4 years ago. My wife used to shop there but hasn’t bought anything there in 4 or 5 years - she said it’s not as well made, doesn’t look as nice and costs more.
I went to the Celtics game last night. Hadn't been in years. We have cheerleaders now who wear bikinis. Besides doing gymnastics, they also do spread-legged, pelvic thrusts to ear-splitting rap music. I said to my friend, "remember when that kind of thing was reserved to 'The Pussycat Lounge?'"
I think it’s more of an issue of what’s available rather than what at least I would prefer. Looked in some of the store windows in the mall and I wouldn’t have been caught dead in most of their designs or mismatched offerings , regardless of my age.
