I’m confused. I see that Reid is involved in the solar farm project, but that’s down in Laughlin. Isn’t this Bundy ranch in a different part of the state, or is there a proposed solar plant for there too?

I’ve been trying to get someone to show me the connection.

I’m suspicious when someone shouts fire in a theater. Is there one? Do I smell smoke? Do I see any flames?

As someone who is from Kingman posted, right across the Colorado from Laughlin, the deal is dead. If that is the case, then they need another place to make the deal happen for the Reid’s. But that is not to say there is yet another project we have yet to hear about.

Face value just does not work with henchmen. I would have thought that over time lurking here on FR that most would understand this simple fact.

This is the thread that took off when we started looking into the land issue.

document reported since been removed from BLM web site, indicates a concern for what they call a dry lake solar energy zone and surrounding area, they do not want roaming cattle near it

The ranch is also near Laughlin, NV both in Clark County, NC, the public land in question for the grazing fees is around Gold Butte on FED claimed land.

The deep issue is water rights, as well as solar companies and not about a tortoise.

Several threads: one on the oil fracking leases near there, which has links from all of it...I posted it to get info from many sources as this is a BLM land grab obviously and the root cause is always money/power!

Water seems to have a special problem for Bundy, and if he does not use it for six years then he loses those water rights according to Nevada Law. Remember BLM forced more than 50 Ranchers in that area to sell out to them, and Bundy is the last hold out, if they can keep him from grazing cattle on public land (paid fees or not) then six years from now with no water rights, his ranch land is worthless.
