What's especially creepy is many of these childless dog owners give their dogs "people" names like Steve, Jack, etc. Gone are the days of Rex, Spot, Rover, etc....Dogs & People have the same names
So much so that it is sometimes hard to tell if they are talking about a dog or a person
We are witnessing the relative end of the Anglo-Saxon people first hand.
I can't think of any other race in history that after producing so much, just decided to commit suicide.
The youth of the Japanese have gotten very odd in the past decade or so, more specifically the males. They appear to have no interest in sex with actual females at all, and little interest in general. So, for different reasons, they're probably ahead of us on the demographic decline.
Yeah...that's creepy. I've got a relative who couldn't have kids (not everyone makes this a conscious choice, biology sometimes makes the decision for them) and she does that with her pets. It's a little sad. And creepy.
But as for the young people who are making the decision to replace kids with pets named "Marc" and "Julie"? Wierd. Wierder still, to get a Christmas Card from them, with their pet's name on it (me to wife: "Who is Marc? Did The Joneses adopt?").
The most wierd? When they send pictures of their pets "Bob" and "Staci" out AS their Christmas cards.
I weep for my generation.
