President Obama has requested $1.1 billion and the Department of Justice (DOJ) asked for $382.1 million for gun control "to protect Americans from gun violence."
Included in the DOJ's $382.1 million figure is a request for $2 million for smart gun technology grants.
According to The Washington Beacon, Obama's $1.1 billion "[includes] $182 million to support the president's 'Now is the Time' gun safety initiative."
"Now is the Time" includes the following:
1. Require background checks for all gun sales. 2. Strengthen the background check system for gun sales.
3. Pass a new, stronger ban on assault weapons.
4. Limit ammunition magazines to 10 rounds.
4. Finish the job of getting armor-piercing bullets off the streets
5. Give law enforcement additional tools to prevent and prosecute gun crime
6. End the freeze on gun violence research
7. Make our schools safer with new resource officers and counselors, better emergency response plans, and more nurturing school climates.
8. Ensure quality coverage of mental health treatment, particularly for young people....

“Ensure quality coverage of mental health treatment, particularly for young people.”
Isn’t that already “covered” by LeninCare?
They will spend that and other dept funds to buy more ammo
No.
How’s that?
I prefer the “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED” initiative, which was started in 1776! ;) And any gutless RINO coward who votes to appropriate funds for this evil Kenyan Communist bastard’s totalitarian schemes, can look for another job in November!
I was watching a show on Russia’s toughest prisons and it said Russia’s murder rate is five times as high as ours. And with stricter gun control laws.
Barry and Eric won’t be happy until the entire country is Chicagoland; by the way, Chicago’s gun violence has decreased since their new carry law went into effect.
But hey, let’s not confuse the administrative branch with facts, law or sanguine public policy arguments.
Sometimes it almost seems as if a cartel of America-hating mufu’s have been running the country for six years.
We need to elect constitutionally qualified people who are loyal to USA and who respect our constitution , history, culture, and values. This used to mean most R or D candidates so it was usually pretty easy for
Us. Nowadays we need to be more alert and careful.
And the house will approve the funds.
This is the time to withhold and hold does feet to the fire.
“We need to elect constitutionally qualified people who are loyal to USA and who respect our constitution”
can’t do it. the msm purposely destroys anyone like that, and anyone smart enough to know that, won’t run.
Their feet
The lowlife Kenyan bass turd is going to use our own money to take our freedom away from us. Anyone who voted for this POS scumbag can KMA.
$!.1 billion is just for starters. Wait until this spending has no results and they start throwing more money into the sink hole. Also, consider the attending scrutiny of the family, government 1984-type reeducation camps and meddling into the lives of individual at the expense of liberty.
Obama, WHO CANNOT PASS ANY BACKGROUND CHECK,
Requests $1.1 Billion, DOJ $382.1 Million for
background checks for all gun sales.
Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung, Mao and hundreds of others did the same thing.
Guns don’t kill people.
Centralized governments kill people.
Works
Ah, the dreaded and yet ill-defined and often mis-labeled "assault weapon." Yes, let's infringe people's rights and waste time and energy banning a weapon used to kill only slightly more often than muskets. You are literally more likely to be killed by a person with a hammer than you are a person with an "assault rifle." Why does the government continue to waste time and effort on this? Seriously, let's report these people to the fraud waste and abuse hotline. Qualifies on all three.
Magazine limits are another red herring, more incremental infringement. Never mind the make no tactical difference when a shooter has defenseless victims and minutes to kill. A few seconds for magazine swaps is inconsequential. Armor piercing rounds? When have they been used? Another red herring, let's take away their rights little by little incremental step towards z complete ban. No.
