Twenty-one were stabbed in a Pennsylvania school rampage Wednesday, but all are expected to live—and one even took a selfie. Think how different the toll would have been with bullets.

So there might well never have been the remarkable selfie that 16-year-old Nate Scimio took after his heroism at Franklin Regional High School if he had faced a gun rather than two knives on Wednesday morning.
In all, Scimio and 19 other students, along with one staff member, were stabbed when a sophomore allegedly stormed through the school in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Three students were critically injured.
One, a girl, was saved from bleeding to death when a classmate kept paper towels pressed against her wound. Another, a 17-year-old boy, was stabbed with such savagery that the wound in his abdomen was 2 inches wide and extended almost to his spine. The blade pierced his liver and diaphragm, missing his heart and aorta by a fraction of an inch. He was on life support after emergency surgery, but doctors remained hopeful he would survive.
And, as of the end of the day, none of the 21 victims had died.....

Think how different it would be if some teachers had guns.

As for the article - I *could* point out that one armed teacher could have stopped the knife-wielding maniac before 21 kids were maimed. I could, but that would make me a racist homophobic meat-eating bigot in DB circles.

In an enclosed area and with a person who knows what he is doing, a knife can be as deadly as a gun, maybe even more so.
Still I would rather have a pistol.

He’s very lucky he wasn’t stabbed 14 times. No way he’d survive that.
A machete or panga is a brutal and effective killing tool especially against the unarmed.
It wasn’t guns so you won’t hear days or weeks of endless MSM reporting on the Murrysville School Attack.
The dems, obama, congress, will have little if anything to say about it.
And the armed.
I guess they are unarmed afterwards.

You see a lot of those African victims missing hands or arms. I would bet that machetes are responsible for most of that. However if the African had a spear or gun he would kill the machete man before he got to him.
