Rep. Aaron Schock (R., Ill.) told Fox News host Gretchen Carlson there is “clear evidence” embattled former IRS official Lois Lerner broke the law Wednesday on Fox News.
The House Ways and Means Committee released a report today revealing evidence highly incriminating to Lerner, and will refer her to the Justice Department for prosecution.
Among the more startling allegations, Schock revealed the committee found evidence she deliberately attempted to obstruct Crossroads GPS’s 501 (c)(4) approval for purely political reasons.
“We have in writing her own e-mails after meeting with liberal-leaning groups like Democracy 21 and others where they specifically say, go after Crossroads GPS, target Crossroads GPS, shut them down, are the words that were used. She then goes after that meeting and e-mails her subordinates and says, ‘give me all of the documentation on Crossroads,’ and suggests denying their application.”

There is always a reason that people resort to the Fifth Amendment right and it is always guilt.
Unfortunately, the media’s reaction will be “what difference does it make?”
So they refer it to the AG who is even more corrupt and in the same way as Lerner. Maybe it is required by the rules but no one who is not stupid or insane expects Holder to do anything but break the law himself.
All it would take would be ONE brave state AG to take up the case on behalf of an aggrieved citizen, to blow this up.
But, that person would have to assume that any political career they might want is OVER the day they start on it, because the media will CRUCIFY them, not to mention the NSA, IRS, and the Just Us Department.
If Holder refuses to prosecute Lerner then what, if any recourse is there?
Holder is NOTHING MORE than and “employee” of WE, THE PEOPLE. Can we hold him also in contempt, AGAIN?

I very much doubt anything happens to her. She'll almost certainly resign with her huge pension intact. Then she'll go to some university, or to one of the numerous left-wing "charities" with a six-figure salary on top of her pension and gold-plated health plan. Another possibility: she lands in the tax and estate division of some big law firm.
Oh! Look at this. Her faithful hubby is a partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, a 400-attorney firm headquartered in Atlanta.
Chance of her getting the Scooter Libby treatment: zero point zero.
