Thanks for the suggestion, Kathy - it's a choice I don't find palatable at present, but it may well become necessary in the near future. I never thought I would be using a walker to get around, but I have been for the last couple of years.

You need to save your knees for walking. Ride up and down the stairs to relieve the extra stress on the knees.
