Basically, he's telling the Socialist - SPD - too soft of a stand. Schockenhoff also criticizes Socialist Steinmeier's promise that Ukraine could never enter NATO.

“Germans going wobbly on us now?”

The Germans have been wobbly on us, all along. They nearly ran out of gas this winter, and despite plans to build new reserve holding areas, they can’t last more than a couple of weeks from a full embargo.

When Europe hitched itself to the “GREEN!” agenda and Russian Gas, instead of local energy sources (or Western ones), they gave away any initiative to use.
