Yes, when a man can be fired from his job because he believes in traditional marriage we’ve got a problem waaaaaay beyond ‘hole of choice’...

There is no tolerance from the Left. They believe in Submit or Die. You're right. Seems they're worse than anything they've been able to accuse us of...

I remember the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s, and I don’t remember any Baptists, Catholics or Mormons - the 3 religions I have the most experience with - ever doing anything mean to homosexuals, other than saying it is A sin that needs repentance, as do sins like adultery, lying, hate and pride.
The idea that we were “out to get them” is simply a lie. I lived those times. I know better. Unhappily, the average teen was born around the late 90s, and they do not understand the lie they are being peddled.

A civil union gives them all the legal protection they need. And in states that don't have civil unions, they can go to an attorney and give each other legal rights.
What they really want is to be able to adopt children and be in-our-face with their lifestyle.

First 3 words tell me all I need to know:
“Former Sen. Alan Simpson...”
“Whether youre gay or lesbian or straight, if you love someone and you want to marry them, marry them,”
And why not extend this to animals and rocks?
No, we know the gaytalk, “two consenting adults”, why doesn’t he say he wants to redefine marriage for every man, woman and child in the nation.

I’ve got to remember the line Michael Medved uses, “gays have a higher median income than straights”. That points to NO discrimination.

None of the major religions in the country are moving against Tea Party members either... Which doesn't mean there isn't prejudice on the part of government workers against us... or corporate prejudice that allows a CEO to be fired for believing in traditional marriage.
Yes, gay sex is a sin. So is being unfaithful... or coveting your neighbor's wife or not respecting your parents. My concern isn't the same as the theologian. My concern is this particular sin is being turned into an effective political movement - one that is starting to appear to be rather totalitarian.

This is the Alan Simpson of Simpson/Mazzoli. The law that flooded the country with 5 million illegals-turned-citizens and killed the GOP in California. Every republican was a conservative when Reagan was president. Most, like Alan here, became 'kinder and gentler' as soon as RWR retired. Unfortunately, Reagan was hardly infallible either. He's the one who signed Simpson-Mazolli into law, after all, legalizing millions of illegals and setting the precedent for today's mess. Perhaps he had his own "kinder, gentler" flaws during his second term, no doubt thanks to his Rockefeller Republican VP's influence.

Is Simpsom in favor of Incestuous Marriage and Polygamous Marriage? If not, why not? Has anybody asked him?

The most Reagan can be faulted for is taking the democrats at their word - 'we really, really promise to enforce the borders this time'.
Of course, he should have known better -they had already forced him to act against his conscious and then failed to live up to the promises they had made in exchange on other issues.
Democrats lie. Democrat enablers lie.

Unfortunately for poor doddering Al, there is a big distinction between a “live and let live” attitude, and what Colorado and other states have done, which is to compel assent to every aspect of the “gay lifestyle” under penalty of law. Photographers in Colorado no longer have the option of saying to prospective gay clients “Sorry, just not into it.” No, you're labeled a bigot and sued by the state for “discrimination.”
Not what I'd call a live and let live attitude, Al. So my advice would be to take a gay marital aid and shove it in your mouth so that no more of your stupid words come out.

Basically, anyone who holds to this is allowing immigration law enforcement to be held hostage by amnesty.
I never understood this whole charade, "let's forgive millions of illegals THIS time, but from now on we'll be tough on border enforcement." It has the same logic as "let's issue a pardon to all thieves, if in return we can get serious about enforcing laws against theft." Anyone who takes it seriously is either a fraud or a fool.

I love my Corvette, but I won’t marry it you sick bastard. And if a father “loves” his daughter, you think they should marry?

Exactly. Government should just stay out. Perverts will still be perverts whether gay marriage is legal or not. The debate over this issue is a waste of time. That is the lamest way you guys promote gay marriage, you pretend marriage isn't real at all and that we don't even have to deal with gay marriage.
Saving America is impossible with your radical leftist politics.
