SPRINGFIELDA onetime top aide to former state public health chief Dr. Eric Whitaker plans to plead guilty to bribery, theft and obstruction of justice in federal court this week in a $400,000 state grant kickback scam she is accused of trying to cover up, according to court documents the Tribune obtained.
Quinshaunta Golden, 45, of Homewood, is scheduled to change her plea to guilty Thursday and has agreed to cooperate with authorities. Federal prosecutors have agreed to request a sentence of no more than 10 years and a month in prison, a copy of Golden's plea agreement shows.
Whitaker, a close friend of President Barack Obama's, has said he is fully cooperating with the government and not involved "in any way" with the alleged crimes in the case. On Monday, Whitaker reiterated that through a spokeswoman. Whitaker is not named in the case.

If it’s not at least hundredths of a Trillion, it’s no big deal.
okay. let me be the first.
Quinshaunta? Really?
She’s 45 FGS. Either I am getting old or this was when we were all watching Kunta Quinte?
I am getting old.
5x Shaunta?
Another possibility: it may have been “Mary” before she changed it in college to be more “authentic.”
How can there be any fraud in AA grants?
LOL
Maybe Ole Danny be gettin' the kickback from the kickback scheme! HA!
Quinshaunta Golden ...
The translation in goldenese is “parents on acid”.
Hussein obamar needs to throw in a token white on occasion for the sake of diversity.
Quinshaunta Golden. Such a cool name!
If she’s 45 she was born in 1969. The only blacks I knew in 1969 had names like John and George and Paul and there may have been a few “Ringos”.
“Quinshaunta”......Every time I see a name like that I ask myself if the parents really named the kid that or they couldn’t spell the name they wanted.
Where do they find those names? Perhaps they were playing scrabble and just grab a bunch of letters from the pile and tried to makeup a name...Geees!
Thanks John W. Hey, at least he doesn’t go around with his pants pulled down.
