Neil ,would have a better congressman , but no the born again dope -heads had to play their actor endorsement /s ,And yes I know them from 40-yrs’ back.
I’ve been active in conservative Louisiana politics for 35 years. I know most all the players, or at least the key “movement conservative” types. None of us had ever heard of this guy. No letters to the editor, he wasn’t around during the Tea Party rallies we had down here, never saw him at area police jury or city council meetings - nothing.
I prefer to vote for and support people who’ve proven themselves. Riser I knew, and he’s got a good voting record in the Louisiana Legislature.
We conservatives here in the 5th District got snookered.
