The opening scene was a little over bloody but it was spectacular from there.

My favorite was the ambush scene near the end which was cut back and forth from the forced pledge of Abe Woodhull.

watching now...

BTW my Loyalists lived “up-the-River” in Mehoopany and Tunkhannock, Wyoming County in the Susquehanna River Valley in PA..they had moved there in 1773 from New Rochelle..

and I also had Loyalists who lived in Albany NY and in Herkimer County NY...

I thought that the forced pledge was a distraction from an otherwise great scene. It didn’t ruin the scene, but almost. I was shouting at my TV for him to STFU.

Oh, & btw I loved the show. Great characters, actors, story, and realism. It could have been filmed in my backyard.
