Most states break their crimes into two major groups: felonies and misdemeanors.

If a law provides for imprisonment for longer than a year,
a violation is usually considered a felony.

If a law provides for imprisonment for a year or less,
a violation is usually considered a misdemeanor.

If a law is punishable only by a fine
it is usually not considered a crimes, but an infraction,
for example, a traffic ticket.

thought so....you did not see the start of the race.....they drove about 8 laps getting rubber on the track after the rain and the new blowers were against the wall blowin to the infield....3 cars had their hood queered and the roof flaps broken cause the down force wind broke em...all 3 cars never challenged cause the aerodynamics queered the cars.....her’s was one
