Wrong again.

Cruz, Lee introduce ‘State Marriage Defense Act’

In a statement released Thursday, Cruz said, “I support traditional marriage. Under President Obama, the federal government has tried to re-define marriage, and to undermine the constitutional authority of each state to define marriage consistent with the values of its citizens. The Obama Administration should not be trying to force gay marriage on all 50 states."

Cruz is probably taking notes when he hears Rand Paul speak. He got it exactly right this time.

Not wrong at all, Ted Cruz supported DOMA.

“”Worked with Attorney General Abbott to send a letter to Congress in support of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.””

Now Cruz is taking a different route to fighting gay marriage, and it involves more than just saying it is a state issue, Cruz is actually trying to find a way to block it nationally and in the federal government.

Part of being politically savvy is being able to choose who is fighting for you, and who is fighting against you.

Rand Paul is fighting to end GOP opposition to gay marriage, and to end social conservatism.
