An Alabama woman shot and killed a young man when he tried to break into her home, saying his car had broke down.
Mikel Steven Smith, 18, was reportedly armed with a knife when he tried to break into a home located in the Booth community, close to Prattville, WSFA reports.
He knocked on the door and tried to gain entrance by saying he needed help that he was broke down, Autauga County Chief Deputy Joe Sedinger told the station.
Tell him to use his Bammy Phone to call E. H0lder for help.
I would note this....being originally from Bama....over the past couple of years....home invasions are on the increase...and almost a daily event in some part of Alabama. I think drug usage (especially meth)...is creating a mental state where you think you can get away with just about anything.
In this case....one less guy we need to worry about.
I don’t agree. I live in eastern Elmore County. This is an extremely rare occurrence. The fact is, almost everyone around here has a gun or guns (usually guns). Meth or Crack heads busting in get shot, as in this story, so it would have to be an increase of suicides, not break-ins, LOL.
Seriously though, this is the first one I’ve heard of in at least a year.
Nice! There should be bounty for such incidents.
........if these are the facts, good for mom!
............the article at the Daily Mail though says in it’s headline he was killed. Later, in the same article he was “arrested”.
I know things are crazy these days but I think it is still not likely we are arresting dead men. So, which is it?
HAPPY ENDING!
It’s too bad that he’ll be in Hell for eternity, but at least no more innocent people will be his victims on Earth.
Ah yes, the old bringing a knife to a gun fight mistake, that’ never works out well for a perp with the shive.
You're right. Just think of how much tax payer's money this lady saved by taking this career criminal out before he spent a lifetime committing crimes, in court, or in prison.
Another man was arrested in connection with this case
according to the story at the Vid
....And just how do you know? Are you privy to something everyone else isn't in on?
Not playing Devil's advocate. I would have shot the bastard too, but I wouldn't pretend to know what would become of him in the afterlife, assuming there is a such thing.
She should have reasoned with him, because we all know people who forced there way into a house can be reasoned with. No gun was necessary, he was lost and confused.....
Her apartment was broken into and I got a call, with the cops in the back ground, “Daddy I Need a Gun!” I bought her a S&W 357 and she got a CC.
A few months later I got another call, “Daddy I was broken into when I got home, I pulled my gun. You never saw a black man run so fast.”
I called the County Sherriff to thank him and from then on she was known as “Daddies Girl” to all of the cops.
At least his statement is now true; good riddance. The world does not need the sort of person who would force his way into a home.
Eric Holder now wants gun tracking bracelets.

Just tell the scumbag who is breaking down your door that your gun is on the charger and he needs to wait a while until the little light stops flashing.
...bless her heart!
You’ll only have my bracelet when you pull it off my cold dead wrist. Then you can pry out the little RFID chip and tape it to the gun.
She should get a medal for marksmanship.
