Former Florida governor Jeb Bush said Sunday that many who illegally come to the United States do so out of an "act of love" for their families and should be treated differently than people who illegally cross U.S. borders or overstay visas.
The comments came during an event marking the 25th anniversary of the presidency of George H. W. Bush at the library and museum that bears the name of the Bush patriarch. The event was closed to reporters, but moderated by Fox News anchor Shannone Bream and portions of the event were later broadcast on the Fox News Channel.
Asked about immigration, Bush started by saying that a bipartisan bill passed by the Senate last year made "a good effort" at proposing ways to ensure that people overstaying visas leave the country.

With 53% out of wedlock birthrates and the highest school dropout rate of any group, Hispanics will, with blacks, form part of a permanent underclass that will become more dependent upon Big Government. They will vote more than two to one for the party that promises to keep it going.

Jeb is right, we should divine the motives of why illegals came here, if it was because of “love” they should be given a smartphone and low-interest mortgage.

Unfortunately, Jeb's perceived as the rightful heir to the GOP throne by the Karl Rove faction of the RNC, and you can bet that the party will throw its full influence and money behind his candidacy in 2016. They do their best to decide elections well before any votes are cast by determining who gets the money and publicity and who gets marginalized.

Jeff Bush loves undocumented immigrants, but, where is his love for the millions of Americans unemployed? There are 91 million Americans out of the work force. Thanks to Obama we have the lowest participation in the work force since the 1970’s and some demagogues want to open wide our borders to hundreds of millions around the world who would love to enjoy the American dream... but that dream is becoming in an American nightmare for those born here and those who came legally to enjoy our way of life loving the U.S. as much as their country of birth.
What is even more aggravating is that people who entered the country illegally are demanding rights and privileges that American citizens do not enjoy and they did not dare to demand from the government of their own country.
California used to be the richest state of America. Now it is almost bankrupt. Anybody can see the result of uncontrolled illegal immigration, and companies are leaving to Texas, Florida and other red states with less taxes and better incentives to invest and prosper.
In fact, unemployment is now lower in Mexico than in U.S.; perhaps Americans will start moving south.
