With eyes increasingly on him, Jeb Bush signaled on Sunday the kind of campaign he would mount if he ran for president: one arguing against ideological purity tests while challenging party orthodoxy on issues like immigration and education.
Even as he sharply criticized President Obama for his handling of foreign affairs and health care, Mr. Bush made clear that he would run against the style of politics that has characterized recent Republican nominating contests. He said he would decide by the end of the year, in part on whether he thought that with a hopeful message, he could avoid the vortex of a mud fight.
We need to elect candidates who have a vision that is bigger and broader, and candidates that are organized around winning the election, not making points, Mr. Bush told an audience at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum here. Campaigns ought to be about listening and learning and getting better. I do think weve lost our way.

Andy Card, who likewise worked in both administrations, including as George W. Bushs chief of staff, said Republicans should draft Jeb. If Jeb Bush doesnt run for president, shame on us, he said. He is demonstrating the kind of leadership we desperately need both in our party and in our nation.

We’ve made too many trips down RINO Road and we always end up in the same place, Loser Lane. Enough with the Bush and Clinton dynasties. The country has been ruined enough.
Looks like Jeb and Hillary ought to be on the same ticket!
FUJB!! Amnesty pimp!!
he can run any place, any time, just not for president. Chubby Jeb needs excercise.
He might be fatter than Christie before too long.
Just threw up in my mouth.
Soon Ann Colture will come out and endorse him and the Ann lovers here will fall in line, both of them.....
Read my tagline. I would let Hillary walk in before I supported another bastard from this family of globalist crony capitalists.
The GOP-e at their finest.
Jeb Bush = national suicide.
Read my lips. No more Bushes.
Yep. They work their deals with the RATs for their share of the loot,
regardless of winning elections or not. Always making deals to enrich
the fat cats at the expense of the grassroots.
Never in a million years. On this issue I am a purist.
And I certainly will not vote for a scold like Jeb Bush.
FOX just showed a video yesterday of the Great Stain-Maker Clinton, praising his buddy Bush I.
Bush I blew away all the economic and foreign policy investments made by Reagan and betrayed the Reagan Revolution. He wasn’t re-elected because he lied about no new taxes. Too much about him to list again.
His son, Bush II was on RECORD stating he would VETO and English as an official language bill if it reached his desk. He stated he would sign an assault rifle ban if Congress approved it.
While he was President an ARMY of illegals crossed the boarded UNOPPOSED. His administration approved of the incarceration of an Hispanic-American boarder patrol agent who shot and wounded a drug dealing illegal invader.
He imposed ridiculous rules of engagement on troops in Iraq. He committed us to a role as an occupying power there and in Afghanistan. He stopped the American Military from taking apart Fallujah after those American contractors were butchered.
He supported that crazy environmental bill which phased out incandescent bulbs in the U.S.
He was responsible for TSA and Homeland Security and the “Patriot” Act. He protected Islam in America against retaliation after 9-11.
He appointed an anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro-illegal alien AG Alberto Gonzales.
He tried to get his personal attorney nominated to SCOTUS and then gave us that damn Judas Roberts as Chief Justice.
He spent money like a drunken sailor, giving MILLIONS of U.S. tax dollars to Africa to “fight AIDS.”
NO.
We don’t need any more spawn of the Bush Klan in the White House. OR their globalist crony capitalist philosophies.
“We need to elect candidates who have a vision that is bigger and broader, and candidates that are organized around winning the election, not making points,
Hogwash:
The quote from Jeb above is made in the context of his statements catering to the “making points” talking points objectives of the Democrats/Left/Liberals against the base of the GOP - the lack of “bipartisanship”, the Congressional stalemates on immigration and other issues, the failure to appeal to a broader body politic has zero, zip, nada to do with the principles and positions of the Democrats/Left/Libs, it’s all the fault of the “radicals” in the GOP”, and surely the Conservative principles of the GOP base is nothing to defend - that’s the Democrats/Left/Lib “making points” talking points line, and Jeb is telescoping to the general election voters it will be his line too.

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s daughter, Noelle Bush, after her arrest early Tuesday.
The daughter of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested Tuesday in Tallahassee on charges of trying to fill a fake prescription for the popular tranquilizer Xanax.
Bush and his wife, Columba, issued a statement that they were “deeply saddened” by the incident involving their middle child and only daughter, Noelle, 24.
They asked the media and the public to respect their privacy “during this difficult time so that we can help our daughter.”
A Walgreens pharmacist suspicious about a call-in prescription notified police at 1:15 a.m. when Noelle Bush showed up at the drugstore’s drive-through in her white Volkswagen to pick it up.
She was charged with prescription fraud, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of five years in jail and a $5,000 fine. Noelle Bush has no known criminal record and was released without having to post bond.
Experts say punishment for a first offense is usually drug treatment or probation.
Noelle Bush has been cited for about a dozen traffic violations and was involved in three automobile crashes since 1995, according to The Associated Press.
