If I was in Ukraine I would be pro independent from Russia and from the EU.

How about NATO membership?

Good question.

No to Putin.

No to the EU.

Yes to NATO.

No to NATO Libyan type of operations.

Its evident that unless a way is found to create a space for Russian speaking Ukrainians - the country won’t last for much longer.

All of this is due not to Russia but to the fact Kiev has a legitimacy problem. It can continue to deny it or take steps to address it.

Russia isn’t done taking over sovereign territory yet

Sad to see some cheer this on

Worked for the Czechs and Slovaks.

Problem it not a vote for Independence for those that do not want to be part of Kiev. It is a vote to be absorbed by Russia. There is not one remaining Ukrainian Oblast the is majority Russian ethnicity.

I think if the idiots who negotiated the Budapest Memorandum would have returned Crimea to Russia in exchange for Ukraine keeping their nukes, it would have avoided a lot of trouble down the road.

But that’s what you got with Clinton, the man who broke up Yugoslavia.

The ousted president was a Russian stooge who now wants the Russians to give Crimea back to the Ukraine.

Putin is just trying to make a land bridge to Cremea —Thats all. He will get it too—Kiev should give him this much—and get Russia to give them something in return—like cheap Gas for Twenty Years—maybe forgive a debt?

Soros may be a bad guy, but Putin is worse.

What if this is Soros and Putin working together to create a pretext for Russia to subjugate Ukraine? It is quite possible, as many belive that Soros worked for the KGB and now works for Russian intel.

Gee let's see.

Excluding Crimea that's now gone, there are zero oblasts in Ukraine that have a population of ethnic Russians that is greater than 40%.

Yet you think the majority of the people in some of the oblasts would rather be a part of Putin's Russia.

But of course.

Lol.

If you’re confident in your analysis then I’m sure you’ll agree that any region that wants a voter referendum on the issue of staying or leaving Ukraine, should have one.

You’re not against the democratic process are you?

Even if an oblast was a majority ethnic Russian I would still support an honest referendum in that oblast.

“If a few thousand Mexicans got together and protested in Corpus Christi, demanding that it be given back to Mexico completely, you would support the US govetnment just rolling over?”

Before, or after, the US Government had been overthrown by Soros-financed anarchists?
