Fox News Channel anchor Shepard Smith spoke with Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace on Friday about the ongoing investigation into the shooting at Ft. Hood when he expressed his revulsion over the debate over access to guns that follows a mass shooting. He said it was nauseating how both sides of the gun issue come out screaming largely before the victims have even been buried.
If somebody wanted to bring a gun up here, you could bring a gun up here, Smith observed. You cant stop every criminal in advance.

Shep Smith: Nauseating
He certainly is.
Its amazing how these “celebrities” must tow a politically correct line to maintain their big bucks marketability. Politically correct self censorship stifles creativity and problem solving. If on duty serving military officers in uniform were required to wear their side arms, would this carnage be occurring?
Even a blind squirrel ...
I guess with this logic, he’s also nauseating since reporters come out of the woodwork after every shooting and before the victims are even buried.
...uses a Tapping Stick?
That's because EMOTIONS rule the debate on the left. CLEAR rational thought guides the right.
LEFT thought - AHHHH guns kill people - BAN ALL GUNS!!!
RIGHT thought - Who stopped the suicide shooter? (Media response a FEMALE, HERO ...) The "hero" had a "gun." Gunman knows the base is unarmed, the first encounter with someone who was armed? kills himself. Wow. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this all out. Gun Free zones are killing zones. An army base should be the last place on earth where soldiers are unarmed. Train them in proficiency of weapons and keep the bases out of the nightly news for mass shootings.
Shep, the flaming queer, is ALWAYS the first to make comment on guns. Always.
Compromise is beneficial if it leads to a solution, but on gun control it would only be an incremental step toward the left’s ultimate goal of total confiscation. I admit to harboring extreme views on gun control because compromise would accomplish nothing. It is not a solution until the other side agrees to accept it with some sense of finality and not an incremental victory. To preserve our 2nd Amendment rights, the left gives us no alternative to an extremist position.
He’s gotta have some incriminating videos or something in order to keep his job. We’d be better off if he was on cnn. Then nobody would see him. Unless of course you’re in an airport.
Nauseating the way POTUS babbles on after each incident then goes back into hiding until the next one. Didn’t he make promises the last time Ft Hood got shot up? What changed?
Maybe I’m just showing my bias about ol’ Shep, but I don’t think he’d be so nauseated if just gun grabbers made their arguments after these shootings. I’m sure he doesn’t think Bloomberg and the Moms are ghouls.
The one thing that is always said whenever the newest "disaster" occurs...
"We just don't have any information and we don't want to speculate...but..."
And then off they go!
Sheppard Smith IS part of the bigger problem...
His only reason to be employed is that he is a homosexual, and they gave him a fancy new set with all the staff and gadgetry for FoxNews to justify his continued existence in that organization...
FoxNews is no different than any other media outlet, they fear the gays...
So appeasement is the preferred method of sustainability and ratings in our TV/Cable media...
As Neville Chamberlain said, “We will have gays in our time!”
Or something like that...;-)
Keeping and Bearing arms is a right in America.
Shep, it you and your leftist buddies respected that, there would be no need to hear either side. You wouldn’t have to be nauseated.
One side is on the side of the Constitution, the other side is not and wish to take away a right guaranteed by the Constitution to American citizens.
Shep Smith should be working for E! not Fox News.
