Former President George W. Bush has painted dozens of portraits of world leaders he worked with while in office. His paintings are on public display for the first time at "The Art of Leadership: A Presidents Personal Diplomacy, an exhibit at the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas. Before the exhibit opened, Bush said none of the leaders in his display had seen their portraits, but he predicted they would react favorably.

W is obsessed with his fellow members of the ruling class.
yes :)
Sweet dreams.
“Sweet dreams.”
Dear God, I hope so. Thank you. Good day.
We should ask them "which ones?". Of course, their response will be that results don't matter so long as the intentions are good. Even if it's just banging a nail into a piece of wood for the cameras.
According to an article I read that was what gave Dubya the idea to try painting.
Winnie once said that when he got to heaven he would spend a good part of the first million years trying to improve his painting.
Winnie painted to help him cope with the “Black Dog.”
Whatever.....

Gives away his personalized gift from Pope Francis

Come on - we can find a lot more accomplishments
You know this would mke a great list to keep adding to - Obama’s Greatest Accomplishments List...: )
Honest mistake. I later saw it was a Volga. I had an MGB with the removable hardtop so I knew for sure it wasn’t one. The Russian cars all look like crap especially the chrome.
Perfect, there are so many ways to fill in that blank. You could probably fill up a legal size page.
I’m sure you can think of other things, you just don’t want to list them and I don’t blame you!
My first thought on looking at it was, “Damn, Putin is worse than I ever imagined and he didn’t fool Dubya for one second, regardless of what he may have said.”
Try holding a sheet of paper up against the screen, divide the image down the centerline of the face and look at one half, then the other. I am no art critic but in my unschooled opinion G.W. is a better artist than many of the so-called greats. The longer I look at his paintings the more I see.
“Proof: fooled wife of 20 + years that hes straight”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Actually you are the one who was fooled on that one.
“Yeah, BO isnt very creative, is he?”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
If not then he certainly has some great writers, he has come up with some of the most creative lies I have ever heard.

Damn, Putin is worse than I ever imagined and he didnt fool Dubya for one second, regardless of what he may have said.
I hope that’s true; but then, why did Dub say what he did?
“I am no art critic”
That’s cause for a sort of quiet pride in one’s self.
“but in my unschooled opinion G.W. is a better artist than many of the so-called greats.”
In my somewhat-schooled opinion, most of the so-called greats of the 19th and 20th centuries are crap-mongers. Picasso himself said that the great bulk of his work was crap.
I don’t know why he said it. George W. Bush is a great enigma to me. He has been called stupid, even retarded, by hordes of people who are far below him in intellect and ability and it apparently bothers him not in the least. He appears to be affected by it no more than I would be affected if I learned that a pissant considered me to be his inferior. To anyone with any connection to reality his achievements must be recognized as superior to those of all but a very tiny percentage of all humans who have ever been recorded in history even if you disagree with much of what he has done. I know I have never aspired to become a jet fighter pilot, just to mention one thing which a very small percentage have ever done and I was one of a select few to be called out of a Navy electronics class and told that I had met all the basic requirements to be a Naval aviation cadet. I listened to the list of what you must be prepared to do to pursue it one step further and said...nah, that’s too much. Yet I have known more than one whose abilities are below my own who imagine themselves to be superior in all ways to George W. Bush.
One person on FR even responded to a post I made and said that I would have to admit that Barack Obama was far better qualified to be president upon election to his first term than G. W. Bush was at the same point. I responded that the idea was absurd and I think anyone with half an ounce of gray matter can now see that the idea was absurd.
Maybe he delights in being “misunderestimated” and wanted Putin to become overconfident and believe that he had put one over on the dimwitted American president.
“all the basic requirements to be a Naval aviation cadet.”
Those who never served seem to assume that they are the peers of high-ranking officers, or, at least, officers.
People who could never get in to Harvard Business mocked his “C average.” People incompetent to be a mess cook presumed to look down on his military service.
Dummies don’t get to fly jets, no matter who their father is.
My recruiter pushed me to go to Aviation OCS, but I joined the Navy to ride ships.
