Perhaps they should tell the meningitis that it’s being mean, insensitive and discriminatory and hold a fund raiser to raise awareness.
Not that difficult ... marry a woman, sleep only with her, this sort of thing doesn’t happen.
If this follows the pattern of the aids epidemic we can expect the federal government will spend billions of dollars trying to find a ‘cure’ and be subjected to a media blitz to persuade us that everyone is at risk.

I believe you can get meningitis from kissing or even being in close proximity to an infected person. Unfortunately, wild club behavior, drinking and generally not taking good care of oneself weakens the immune system and makes catching diseases more likely.

Oh brother, on average 1500 people die of meningitis a year and these attention seekers are worried about 3 of them happen to be gay when they died from the disease. The huge majority of the deaths are from straight folks. It is truly about them all the time for everything. So sick of it.
Promiscuous anal sex makes the homosexual community a rapid vector for all sorts of diseases. Finding a cure for AIDS won’t matter, because something new will turn up or evolve, and spread rapidly through all of gay-dom.
