I am with you on this one. It does give me a lead to perhaps digress. I do find that the right and proper way to kill animals is to make it quick and painless.
My daughter bought an old house that had been closed up for two years. The local squirrels had taken over and infested the attic. They tore out the new insulation. She was distressed at the rat traps needed to clear them. I went over to Sault Ste Michigan to the Ace Hardware and got a sort of powder which simulated the urine of a fox. Bye bye squirrels.
I know this is a bit of a ramble, but it still pains me to view unnecessary cruelty to animals. Anyway, I have seen this curious word on FR. Tiz Karma. This joker got it in spades.
I simply do not feed them, mow and keep ground cover down thin.
The rascals don't have anyplace to hide stuff (which they always forget), and stay in the trees and park. Keeps the blue jays away too.
Squirrels are truly nuts, the only thing predictable about 'em is, no food, no squirrels.
Where did you two get the idea that the squirrel was still alive?
