Mike Huckabee, whose win in the Iowa caucuses in 2008 put him on the national political map, holds an early lead there if he were to run again in 2016, according to a new poll.
The WPA Research poll shows the former Arkansas governor on top of a field of potential candidates at 14 percent.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is in second place at 10 percent, while the rest are in single digits.

I would sure vote for Rand Paul over Hucklebee...but I would vote for Ted Cruz over both of them.

Huckabee is a nice guy - and that is his problem.
He was out matched in the debates in 2010.

Well, surprise, surprise...the mainstream media trying to “shape” the process for selecting their RINO to be sacrificed to whoever the DemocRAT nominee is in 2016.

Iowa needs to be at the bottom of the heap when it comes to picking presidents. I am sick to death of these people and their twins in New Hampshire having ANY say in who we choose.

Bingo. We get losers because the GOPe rigs the primary/caucus process to ensure that non-conservative locations have a disproportionate impact on the nominee selection process. Put Iowa and New Hampshire at the bottom for the next 20 years plus close the primaries so that Dems and Independents can't pick the GOP nominee either.

Chris Christie is done, Jeb Bush is a pariah so the establishment ruling elite are starting float the huckster for the repubs. Well this is about as much of a winner as Juan McCain and the Willard.

Yeah, and Michelle Bachman won the straw poll back in 2011, and we all know how much that mattered in the end.
