From what I’m hearing a lot of people are having considerable success with quitting smoking with E-cigs.

Exactly, e-cigs are a godsend for many.

This is simply an effort to demonize the substance so the government can tax it. Don’t buy into it. This is simply another effort to shape public opinion into asking the government to take away one more of our freedoms.

Well sure, because they’re not really quitting smoking. They’re still getting their nicotine, they’re still getting their act of smoking, they even heat it so it feels close to the same in the mouth. Using these to quit smoking is like quitting hard liquor and switching to mixed drinks.

Hey CrippleCreek, I managed to quit smoking using the e-cig. I haven't bought a tradition tobacco product for 2 months, and I've now gone to the zero nicotine cartridges.

Now I just have to watch the food intact, because everything tastes good again. :-)

I’m one of them! It’s still a battle but I haven’t had a cig since Nov 16.

It's true.

"Judge not lest ye be judged" sort of fits.

Anyone not being a smoker, knowing a smoker or otherwise having firsthand knowledge of e-cigs really need to take a step back before agreeing with the NEW YORK TIMES, of all idiot clubs.

The government is all hyped up about the nicotine liquid 'cause it's not getting it's 'fair share', ya know?

I know too many people that quit chemical-laden tobacco company-manufactured cigarettes due to these e-cigs...

Keep an open mind. We're talking about the government & liberal media here, remember guys/gals???
