Delusional Pelosi Channels Founding Fathers - Video
It boggles the mind that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) thinks she would ever know what the Founding Fathers would have wanted, but on Tuesday she appeared pretty confident that she knew that they definitely would have loved Obamacare. No wonder Allen West called her ’delusional’:
There are those critics, bumps in the road, but theyve only been turbulence. They have not been an obstacle to the American people having healthier life that our that our founders wanted for them.
She goes on to say that Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and George Washington would have loved how Obamacare frees the American people from “job lock” – the crafty term the Democrats have invented which actually translates to “job loss.”
You keep trying to channel our Founding Fathers, Pelosi – we’re going be over here, trying to actually fix this mess.
This is Nancy Pelosi defining the purposes for the founding of this country and getting it dead wrong. Here we go. Here's the first...PELOSI: There are those who are critics and there have been bumps in the road. But they've only been turbulence. they have not been an obstacle to the American people having healthier life. But our founders wanted for them, life -- healthier life -- liberty, the freedom to pursue their happiness. Not job locked, but having benefits that -- health care policies that -- are portable. They could be self-employed, be a photographer. They could start their own business. They could change jobs. They could reach their aspirations.
RUSH: This, folks, is infuriating! This is what she thinks the Founding Fathers meant by "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," portability of your health insurance benefits? Yes, "life -- healthier life -- liberty, the freedom to pursue their happiness," and you can't be happy if you have to work. You can't be pursuing happiness if you are "job locked" because you gotta have benefits.
You need health care policies that are portable, and the founders knew this!

The next thing we know the founders were gonna be against photo IDs. The next thing we know the founders were gonna be for amnesty. The next thing we know, the founders were going to be insistent on abortion rights. The next thing we know the founders are going to be in favor of the Catholic Church marrying gay people. Well, what's to stop her, if she can bastardize what the founders meant with the preamble to the Declaration, where's the end to it? This is exactly what they're doing in the curriculum with young kids. So we're stopping it, giving 'em the alternative of truthful history.
Ping!
They would have hung her as a witch.
Or burning her at the stake!
If they thought that state-mandated healthcare was good,\ they’d have done it, rather than ratify the Tenth Amendment.
What do you think from a woman who probably thinks that it is a shame that the Holy Mother did not have access to Roman government provided birth control or abortions?
Spirit of George Washington: “Pelosi.....shuteth thy pie-hole.!
"I take a man, and I take away reason and accountability."
Spoken like a true a##clown, mouth opens and sh## comes out
My guess is that you would have some amazed by the advances in health care. I think some of them might raise an eyebrow about the concept if socialized anything, per se. And they would howl when they discovered that the government was taxing it’s people for it.
I think they might be taken back by most of our social policies.
I figure Ben Franklin would give a big thumbs up to birth control.
Yeah, they’d be standing in line to support 0care whenever they got done beating the crap out of their slaves. Because they were evil white slaveowners when it’s convenient to image them as evil white slaveowners but they were courageous, righteous, and principled people whom we should listen to when it’s convenient to mis-image them as wise socialists except when you have to pass it to find out what’s in it. Of course, whatever they developed as our founding fathers is an obsolete, dead, silly piece of paper, but they can be forgiven because they were courageous and principled except for that white slaveowner stuff because they wrote cool poetry sometimes.
What a vile blathering bi*ch this woman is.
Well in that case, I’m convinced.
I wonder what commission they makeoff each insurance signup?
All three of these patriots had indicated, to various extents, that the Founding States had never delegated to the feds, via the Constitution, the speciifc power to regulate, tax and spend for public healthcare purposes.
Our citizens have wisely formed themselves into one nation as to others and several States as among themselves. To the united nation belong our external and mutual relations; to each State, severally, the care of our persons (emphasis added), our property, our reputation and religious freedom. Thomas Jefferson: To Rhode Island Assembly, 1801.
State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress. (emphases added) Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
Inspection laws, quarantine laws, health laws of every description (emphasis added), as well as laws for regulating the internal commerce of a state and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c., are component parts of this mass. Justice Barbour, New York v. Miln, 1837.
Regarding the Founders establishing a federal government whose power were limited by a constitution, Nancy Pelosi also wrongly ignored that the Founders required Congress to petition the states to ratify amendments to the Constitution which grant Congress specific new powers, the subject of this thread being to regulate, tax and spend for public healthcare purposes. This is evidenced by her ignoring of an officially proposed resolution for a healthcare amendment before she irresponsibly rammed constitutionally indefensible Obamacare Democratcare through the House of Representatives.
"Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States regarding the right of citizens of the United States to health care of equal high quality." H. J. Res. 30.
Mz Pelosi is one sick puppy!
