I went to but my kid on the policy, it was a farking rippoff.
So I said no.

It would be simpler and fiscally cheaper to pay out of pocket.

Then I have to reassure the kid that I love them and will take care of them.

We had a grandfathered plan for our child. That only went up 15% and my wife got knocked off and put on a bad plan for only more than a 300% increase of her old premium.
