The media describes this as a victory lap. Rush has it nailed. Obama and the Democrats shoved this down the throats of the people. Now, they are using various departments of the U.S. Government to bully, terrorize, and bankrupt the “common people.” The people of the South have a term for what Obama is doing that seems to fit. Obama is not taking a victory lap, he is “showing his ass.”

I don’t understand how they can claim victory over a bogus sign-up number. We still don’t know how many previously uninsured people are now insured; we don’t know if anyone has paid yet; we don’t know if anyone has even tried to use this magical insurance and actually received health care.
We don’t know if this has saved anyone or the country any money (in fact we are sure it has cost trillions already). It’s totally premature celebration.

Next year they will up the fine to 2.5% of income.
