Hell, I've met illegals who say America has too many illegals. I kid you not.

These are people who actually entertain notions of becoming legalized and getting on the pathway to citizenship. But they wonder aloud if it is even worth it.

As citizens, they would be required to pay taxes. As illegals, they can come and go as they please. But they complain that open borders drives down their wages as well. That makes them a lot smarter than your average open borders politician.

So have I. And then there's the Puerto Ricans who say we don't need illegals to do jobs that legal Puerto Ricans can do.

It gets weird around here. Serbs think there are too many hispanics, Mexicans think there are too many other hispanics, mideasterners think there are too many African "refugees".... And everybody agrees we don't need Mexican drug cartels messing up their messed up neighborhoods.

They're all correct.

Also Hispanics have been accepted a full Americans for years - as American as the Irish or anyone else. But when the people who flood in illegally are Hispanic, it makes all of them look bad. And that's no favor to anyone. Liberals are buying votes - they don't care about these people except to exploit them or to allow their fellow liberal elites to exploit them.
