There are several people here at work who own a Subaru. I’ve talked to a few and they all love them.

I was told that my husband should have his checked out at the dealer since it could be a sensor not activating the AWD when needed. Plus, the Crosstrek was a new model, so there may be issues, although we haven’t heard of any. We think it might be tires, which are not good snow tires.

I’m keeping mine since it will go on forever, even if I don’t. LOL

Glad to hear that you like yours! I think you're right and wouldn't be surprised if his issue goes away with better tires.

It seems to be hit or miss and I've read a lot of complaints about the OEM tires from owners who love their Subaru but hate the tires. Like you, I'm keeping the car, but I am looking forward to changing the ones that came on mine ASAP. I'm just too cheap to do it now.

Good luck with it!
