In a single paragraph he libeled Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck then went on to threaten to kill NRA board members for their political views. Seems to me that since he has publicly announced his plans for murder, any NRA board member would be justified in gunning down the little rat if he gets withing range.

I have always thought liberals suffer from “projection” , and this is another example.
You see, what this crazy person with his “I’ll shoot you” comment didn’t consciously know it but really means is that HE should not have access to a gun, and I might agree.
I think many, maybe all liberals who are the most anti-gun are of the emotionally uncontrolled type that even THEY subconsciously know they shouldn’t ever be armed. They are too emotional and unstable, and I have liberal relatives who I think would be dangerous with a gun, and I think their fear of guns is partially based on their being unable to trust themselves with that kind of responsibility.
-and I say this as a very pro second amendment supporter.
And if you look at the predominance of mass shooters being liberal this seems to make a lot of sense to me.
So maybe gun control, even strict gun control is appropriate, in regards to liberals, but liberals only.
