Vice President Joe Biden is warning Democratic donors that their money is needed to avoid ending up with a Senate full of Ted Cruz-like tea party Republicans.
"We could lose," reads the headline on Biden's fundraising email sent out Sunday, just ahead of Monday's first-quarter deadline.
Urgent: Do You Approve Or Disapprove of President Obama's Job Performance? Vote Now in Urgent Poll
"If we wake up on Tuesday and find out we came up short, we're in bad shape for November – that is not hyperbole," Biden writes. "Losing will mean more senators like Ted Cruz, and more Tea Party Republicans in the House."
The end-is-near rhetoric is nothing new to fundraising letters, and The Washington Examiner's Paul Bedard writes that Democrats actually aren't having much trouble bringing in cash. They are, however, having trouble wooing voters to their candidates, he said.

When are you going to accept the fact that the establishment wanted it that way?

I just have a hard time believing that the establishment wanted Senator Murdock and that other Senator to say things that were kinda out of left field. Or that the establishment demanded that the Witch commercial was a good idea. I just don't agree with that. Now the establishment DEFINITELY will screw with a primary in order to keep the incumbent in office either because it is an easier win or that they have been in the Senate a long time and can get rings done easier. Look at the junior Senator of Texas, Ted Cruz is having a tough time getting any bills through the Senate. That would happen to all junior Senators. Having Seniority helps to get things done in the Senate.

- - - if Republicans take back control of Congress, the battle between Tea Party conservatives and the Republican establishment may intensify, as the grassroots conservatives who provided the votes will demand more conservative policy solutions from Republicans in Washington. - - -

Oh my goodness. You think Ted Cruz is a whacko bird? Yieks. Your life here may be limited. He is a honored protected politician on FR so you cannot call him out like that.
