I learned my spanish from cubans,
which may differ a bit from yours that you learned from mexicans.
It is peculiar that...
instead of saying...”I am 63 years old”
the spanish say “I have 63 years”
(yo tengo sesenta y tres anos)
instead of saying...”What is your name”
the spanish say “how are you called”
(Como se llama)
and the spanish have no word for “why”
they say “for what” (por que)
