Look at the situation as it stands today. Having already given him two chances, and now discovering the Current Occupant just does not measure up, Condi would be free to say “Look, the (”n” word indicating “black”) failed.”

What the article leaves unsaid: If the Iranians get nukes (probable) and are not so crazy as to use them right away (probable), the Saudis will too, others will follow. Israel will bolster its defenses, but... No way this ends well.
This is just one such region where the vacuum is being created.
