Okay, THAT was certainly embarrassing.
At the end of a joint news conference with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Netherlands on Tuesday, the applause for Barack Obama came from a grand total of one guy.
One.
After thanking the crowd twice for suffering through his boring, standard worn-out spiel, Obama looked around the room, expecting the usual fanfare and applause he receives from his loyal followers back home.
It never came. Instead, the Leader of the Free World was met with one slow, awkward clap.
Question: was MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in the house?

And let’s not forget to include Joe (Plugs McKenzie) Biden, King of the Morons, or the Congressional “Leaders” from both parties when discussing our “decline.” Obama has had a lot of help getting to where he is today.
Did Chris watch? Did he feel a tingling down his leg?
They have pretty good crowd control over there. Obviously they were able to keep all the morons out, except for one.
And I thought the nation could have done better than Bush...
Imagine how much better it could have done than Obama.
Name anyone running on either side in 2008, and they would have been better than this d-less wonder.

This just shows that Obama is not only “the one” but
also a Zen master and knows the meaning of
‘the sound of one man clapping”.
I guess there weren’t many media there or the applause
would have been larger...
That’s sexist. How do they know it was a man?
I’m hoping Rush picks up on this tomorrow. If so, he’s gonna have a field day with it.

I half expected Obama to come back out for an encore or to take a bow based on his self-image alone.

who was MORE embarrassed, president mom jeans, or the one guy that clapped?
Were everyone else in the room too busy giving him the middle finger to clap?
Oh the president was. Well, he was probably in denial. BUt it seemed he looked around for people to come up and talk to him. No one looked at him. the camera crews, the press, no one cared to interview him.
THey don’t dislike him for the exact reason we might think, but they are just not interested.
Americans go to Europe, to France, and we throw money at everything. They are just not interested in that. And it frustrated people like BO. For all his ‘I hat the rich’ Schtick, he sure loves for people to use him for his money. This is what happens when a wealthy neglected bossy kid goes off to live in the world and no one is impressed.
