Well we won't be "nominating" anyone. Remember, all-party primary (and runoff in November between the top 2 finishers, even if one of them won a majority in the primary).
I think this will greatly benefit TARP boy since anyone can vote for him in the primary. That's worse than an open partisan primary where at least you have to pick a party, democrats wanting to crossover for a major GOP race might be dissuaded by not being able to vote in any contested rat races on the ballot. With this system they have in Cali those kinds of voters can have their cake and eat it too.
It would figure either Kashkari or Donnelly will make the runoff but theoretically it could be anyone. Cindy Sheehan is running on the "Peace and Freedom Party" line, she really hurts the Green party candidate's chances of making the runoff.
