I haven’t seen any leaves on our mesquites yet, unless they are just tiny now. They are what we use to gauge when cold weather is gone for good, too.

We get a few hummingbirds but somewhat later than now. It has been cooler than usual this spring.

Garden and Ramsey Canyons in the Huachucas are sometimes called the hummingbird capital of the U.S.. We have 25-30 different species that migrate through here in addition to several year-round populations.
