The United States has proposed freeing Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard in a trade-off deal in which Israel would agree to proceed with the next round of prisoner releases, including Israeli Arab prisoners, and the Palestinian Authority would agreed to extend the current peace talks, Israel’s Army Radio reported Wednesday.
It said the offer had been conveyed to Israel and the PA, but there was no official confirmation. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki was quoted telling journalists accompanying Secretary of State John Kerry to a meeting with PA President Mahmoud Abbas Wednesday morning that there were currently no plans to release Pollard, who is serving a life sentence.
In exchange for Pollard, Israel would agree to release 26 prisoners, among them around 20 Arab Israelis, and the Palestinians would agree to continue talks until the end of 2014, according to Army Radio.
Kerry reportedly made the offer after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made clear his intentions to forgo the final stage of a prisoner release, previously agreed to as a bargaining chip for starting peace talks this past July, unless Abbas agreed to extend the talks past the upcoming April deadline.

If releasing Pollard in return for Israel releasing terrorist murderers is a good deal, then releasing Pollard in return for Israel keeping those murderers in prison is an even better deal.

I am Jewish and would rather Pollard be hung tonight than see a single Arab terrorist released in Israel, or Israel submit to more insane “peace talks”. Pollard knew the risks. Do the crime, do the time. Stop whining about it. Why do Jews fawn all over this sleazy guy? I don’t get it. Israel must say NO to Obama and Kerry, and simply wait out the remainder of this tyrannical terms until it ends by impeachment, or naturally.

How long before the Obama Regime starts kidnapping Israelis and offering them to Israel in exchange for the release of the arab monsters they are keeping locked up?

Israel wants “their” guy back, as a sign to the rest of their spies.
They understand none of this matters as the whole place will be blown sky high when the Jews bomb Iran. That will be the weekend that Israel takes care of all of its “family business.”
So it is a hostage crisis? Give up your country and we give you back Pollard.
The hell with that. I could have concurred with that opinion until I found out that the Israelis gave the damn Russians the info he filched so they could get Jewish folk out of Russia. That info included material that allowed the Russians to retask nuclear strike assets from no longer worthwhile targets to things like civilian population centers.
With the Israelis, their very existence as a country and a people is at stake.
With the USA (and especially with Obama) - it’s just “games and politics”!
