MOSCOW, March 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian and US anti-drug agencies will continue their usual cooperation, the head of the Russian Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Ivanov said.
This is the first meeting that Ive chaired under the sanctions regime, he said on Wednesday.
At the same time, he said, We are not planning to curtail cooperation. Our US colleagues share our view.
I hope that these are temporary problems, Ivanov said.
Very true. Yesterday the thought occurred to me that in so many ways, the “feel” of this relationship between the US and Russian Federation is that they’ve near merged into one “corporate” entity.
The respective politicians posture before the cameras and make all the appropriate statements, but it sort of feels like that at the end of the day, they all get together and toast each other with drinks at a steak dinner.
I suspect that Merkel of Germany has taken note of this cozy relationship.
"Mornin' Ralph......Mornin' Sam."
LOL, perfect!
Of course, it does make one wonder.........who’s really in charge? Who are Ralph and Sam working for? Exxon?
Russia has a bit of a drug problem of its own.
It would be shortsighted to end cooperation.
I think they just want all the pain patients to give up and die. And then there’s the monetary incentive for all the police departments and prisons. Can’t have more people out of work, y’know.
In other words, The US will keep protecting the drug lords in Afghanistan, and Russia will keep selling drugs to Poland and Germany.
