And nobody outside that local media market, where it cannot be ignored, hears a thing about it.

Let me guess if there was a “white hispanic” that was cc and shot a few of these (let’s call them what they are) black thugs, would the “white hispanic” (or even just plain caucasian) be regarded the hero for trying to stop this mob or would he be getting the book thrown at him for being a vigilante? Louisville is about two weeks away from the start of the Derby activities (Thunder over Louisville is on April 12th) which are heavily centered on the area where this riot took place and which bring TONS of $$$ into the city.
LMPD is going to saturate the area with presence to knock this stuff back. Until Derby is over anyways. Then they’ll back off and let the MUYs reclaim the turf.
Great, a grand jury just decided not to indict the guy charged with stabbing the teenager who’s informal ‘memorial service’ was the flashpoint for the Saturday night riot ...

More, the guy charged in the stabbing was actually attacked by a group of ... teens ... on the bus and was just defending himself.
Well, perverted causes have consequences. The Trayvon brouhaha encouraged the “underclass” to put chips on its shoulders. This is what has resulted.

Local community organizer (rabble rouser) said that the dead teen deserves justice, but the law isn’t going to provide it. Sounds threatening to me ...
LMPD chief basically says right to self defense is absolute. I’d take that as a direct warning to teens who try to engage in similar activities in the future.

Yes, one can envision this senario in their future. Despite having been given “equality” through affirmative action and other favourable legislation of the federal government, they have become ever more demanding and ungrateful in the opinion of many. They are not happy to accept their “fair” share based on their representative population size, but demand ever more redistribution of the wealth and power beyond their share. The minority now want to exert control over the majority, first by legislation and then by violence and intimidation. They violate the laws the majority of us live and work under and if we push back cry “racism”. They are protected by a liberal leftist party government and its president that guarantees their rights but violates the rights of the rest of the people. These are just a few of the examples of how their equality overrides our equality.
They have squandered away 50 years of opportunities. In the process, this great nation has been brought to it’s knees in the name of “their” equality.

Oh and speaking of Chicago, there was a story about Chicago on TV, didn't catch it but saw the promos.
In one of the promos, a young---probably about 13---black kid is ripping Rahm "dead fish" "Obama Hit Man" Emmanuel. Very surprising seeing Rahm being dissed so openly on TV.
It seems my post #85 was removed. I considered that might happen, but I felt that referencing the comment of a local person on (I think it was) WLKY web site was relevant enough to chance it. I think it was illustrative of the anger and frustration a lot of people in Louisville feel.
The people are, for all practical purposes, being told that they must remain defenseless victims of racially motivated crimes. And that they are expected to keep a civil tongue after being assaulted by racists.
IMO, the real racism surrounding this event, and others of its ilk, is the refusal of the authorities to acknowledge the relevant racial component of the event. And the racist intentions of the perpetrators in many of their attacks.
As long as that refusal lasts, there will be no improvement, no lessening of these attacks. The authorities are lighting a tinder box here and are too short sighted (and cowardly) to see that.
Popeye used to say something when he had enough of Bluto’s beatings: “That’s all I can stands, I can’t stands no more”, and then he proceeded to whip the crap out of Bluto. What is going to happen when the people refuse to stand any more of these beatings? It could easily get well out of hand. The victims are the majority, that’s a sizable sleeping dragon to arouse.
